Energetic Aquatic Shiatsu Yoga (E.A.S.Y.)

Energetic Aquatic ShiatsuYoga E.A.S.Y.®  is an introductory week-end class (16 hours)

Energetic Aquatic Shiatsu Yoga is based on a combination of Ai Chi, Shiatsu and Yoga.Shiatsu, a Japanese healing art, is based on the principal that the body can heal itself and overcome specific challenges to the body and mind. It enables anyone to maximize health through the use of healing touch on particular acupressure points and conscious, gentle (Yin) yoga stretches along your body’s meridians. It is very important to practice EASY for 30 minutes to 45 minutes daily to create balance in your body and mind. However, it is also beneficial to practice EASY as a 5 to 10 minute warm down after an active (Yang) workout. You will feel peaceful (Yin) energy flowing through your entire body.

This class is a wonderfully informative & enjoyable experience. It was a great way to be introduced to the foundation for Aquatic Bodywork. I recommend the experience to anyone interested in components of Asian modalities, yoga, stretching, t’ai chi and aquatics all at one time. My husband and I came together which made the experience even more enjoyable. We would definitely consider Watsu as our next course of learning. This is the most lovely setting-tranquil and integrative.  -Eduardo & Tara Diamante Canhos of Diamante Day Spa.

I felt my brain waves change, my breathing change and energy flow in my meridians. I didn’t realize that I could unblock something in a meridian through breath and movement, without needles. As a licensed acupuncturist of 10 years, I was amazed to learn the profound effect of breathing and stretching in the water and on land. I felt the coursing movement of qi in the channels (meridians). I felt the flow of my own energy in a way I had never experienced before. This surprised me! I enthusiastically recommend this as an option to obtain true balance.   -Lili Heissenbuttel, A.P., L.M.T.

Coming to this workshop and finding peace and heart balancing in the first evening of the class was amazing to feel.   -Kathleen Heath, LMT

It wasn’t something that I knew much about but I really enjoyed myself. I am interested in learning more.  -Nellie Milazzo, LMT
